There has been so much happening these last couple weeks, and Spring Break is going way too fast. I need one more week with the kids home. Then, I will be ready to send them back. But, I am not ready yet. So, here are the happenings...
1. Our hot water heater sprung a leak, and all the water made it into the house and ruined my hardwood floors. Good news...our insurance is giving us a ton of money to replace all the hardwood downstairs, and we will probably have enough for a new coat of paint and new carpet in the family room.
2. Our new giant sized hot water heater will be awesome, once it actually works. Apparently, we picked up a bad one, and we haven't had hot water for a week. We are anxiously awaiting the GE man this morning to tell us what's wrong with it. I have had 2 cold showers, and I just can't do it anymore. We have been taking the kids over to Grandma's to shower, since we have been swimming nonstop, and the girls just HAVE to take a shower every.time.they.get.out.of.the.pool.
3. We bought a 15 passenger van. Yes, we did. It is black and basically looks like a mafia van (with windows). It is being delivered from Florida sometime soon, so I have will have pictures very soon. The kids are DYING, they are so excited, and we are trying to come up with a good mafia name for the new van. Any suggestions? The things we mothers do for our children...like drive a HUGE van everywhere for the next 10 years. Nice.
4. We have had cousins from all sides of the family sleeping over every night so far this Spring Break. We have been swimming nonstop. Lincoln has made huge sacrifices this week, and has had baseball practice, batting cages, or hitting lessons, every single day. He works so hard.
5. We have a tournament the next 2 days. We had a rough start, and lost both of our games yesterday. We have to win both games today, to even play on Saturday. We will see. We are tired and sunburned from yesterday's games. Yet, we are all excited to go back today and see Lincoln play!
6. I will leave you with this picture of Jim & Levi in Disneyland. I love when Levi gives kisses. How old are they, usually, when they stop using the tongue? I can't remember.

well no wonder nobodies answering the phone at your house!!!
Sorry about the water heater. Wish ours would have cost enough damage to get a payment out of!
You are such an amazing mother! and yes, oh the sacrifices! I was just telling my husband that I'm not sure what we are going to do with our time when it is just the two of us?! Will it ever really be just 2 of us?
P.S. I was just in St George for a short anniversary trip and saw a van just like yours called...the Plig Rig. It had a family of 1 dad, 4 moms, and 13 kids lined up along the back!
