Another Baby Update
I don't know why my body does this every time. My babies are always early. Brooklyn was born a whole month early, and had to stay in the hospital. Diddy tried to come early, but they put me on bedrest, and that helped. I think my babies hate my uterus.

Baby Update
I had a doctor's appointment last week, and my sweet doctor told me that he would do an amnio at 37 weeks, and take the baby if I want. Huh? My doctor ROCKS!!! That is only 3 1/2 weeks away! However, that is not going to work with my schedule, 'cause Brookie's birthday is that weekend, and I have a huge YW fundraiser the following week, and the girls have Junior Festival for piano that weekend, and Lincoln has a baseball tournament in St. George. So, this little baby is just going to have to wait until it is convenient for us to have him. We are expecting to have him no later than March 16th, though. The kids will be on track break. I've been weighing the pros and cons of that one.
I can't believe it's almost time. What in the world am I gonna do with 6 kids??? That's 3 for me and 3 for Jim. We are seriously out numbered. Not to mention, that will fill every seat in our car. So, carpooling is out! And...I have to change my license plate...

A haircut for Lincoln and a few tears from his mama

I knew eventually the day would come when we would have to cut Lincoln's hair. I've dreaded it. He's had long hair ever since I can remember. We decided to trim it up at first. Shoulder length is just waaaayyyy too long. So, we trimmed it up, and it ended up being really poofy. He has so much new curl in the back. It didn't look right; not like it usually does when we trim it up. So, after a lot of thought (seriously, A LOT), we decided to hack it off. He LOVES it! I am so glad. I was worried about him not liking it. I shed a few tears, but I'm getting used to it. I don't know what it is. I could change my girls' hair in a second, but I'm so sentimental about my boy. I cried his first day of Kindergarten, and it never even phased me dropping my girls off for Kindergarten. I can't imagine how it will be when he goes on his mission and gets married.

Some favorites from Cancun 2009
We went to Wet n Wild. Hence, the wristbands. The kids had a contest to see who could wear their shredded, torn up wristband the longest. Of course, Blake won. She had hers on until after Christmas, I think.
Diddy wore her favorite Hello Kitty floaties EVERYWHERE. Nana had to buy her another set of beach toys, 'cause Papa let the wave take her watering can. The watering can is most important, and she was very upset. Bad Papa :) and then at the end of the trip, he confessed that he used her new watering can to unclog the toilet so he wouldn't have to call hotel maintenance??? PAPA!!! Sick.

We had some HUGE waves this time. It's hard to tell, but they are pretty far out in the ocean. My kids are all really strong swimmers, but even Lincoln wouldn't go out without a life jacket.

Lincoln had that "beach hair" surfer look the whole time. Loved it.
Papa always got stuck being the equipment manager, but he didn't mind.

I can't believe the trip we've been planning for 2 years is already over. It will be a while before we can vacation again. The baby will be here in about 6 weeks or so. And who really wants to take 5 kids and a newborn on vacation??? Only crazy people, I think.

Another proud parenting moment

Oh, I have lots to post...

The placenta moved. No more previa. Thank goodness. I was stressing about having another C-section; the worst experience of my whole life. Glad we are out of the woods on that one. I am not nearly as big as I usually am, so I am still feeling pretty comfortable. Hope that lasts until the end. I have the worst heartburn EVER though. I swear my stomach is in my esophagus. I dread eating, and I have to sleep sitting up. Lovely. Other than that, I feel really good. The kids have been so helpful, and I think we have finally agreed on a name (except Lincoln & Taylor hate it). Can't please everybody. I am going to wait until he's born to post his name. Sorry. What if we change our minds?
Oh, and can someone please tell my husband to let me have the computer, so I can finally start editing some pictures? Love you, honey!

The kids spent lots of time on the laptop playing Club Penguin by the pool.
